We want learning to be fun, right? We hope that it helps our learners to engage, to relax and give things a try, or even just helps them enjoy their time in class. Well, we want you to have fun too! That's why Robin Leeson, Sarah Burton, and Chris Hewatt will be leading this drop-in session around using games in the classroom. Drop in, have a snack, and try out one of the games we've been using. Hopefully you'll leave with some ideas for how you can incorporate games in your class--or at the very least, you'll get to relax and have a bit of fun on a Wednesday afternoon!

Community is not just in our name it has always been at the heart of what we do with students and each other. This interactive break-out session uses the Restorative Practices framework to engage in tools and strategies that promote a supportive environment by prioritizing relationships, giving voice, and focusing on what works. The more supported we feel with each other, the more support we can provide our students to improve student outcomes.

"Toxic masculinity." "Patriarchy." "Misogyny." On the surface, these buzzwords make it seem like men are the enemy of social justice. But is that what they really mean? This hour-long workshop aims to help men to feel included in social justice spaces without feeling like they must shed their masculinity.
Facilitator and alum Tristian Novack will guide attendees through co-creation of definitions and more as attendees learn to identify toxic masculinity, demonstrate healthy masculinity, and encourage healthy masculinity in others.
